This program designed to introduce high school students to the fascinating world of materials science. This program provides a hands-on and immersive experience, allowing students to explore the principles, applications, and innovations in materials science and engineering. Our goal is to inspire and educate high school students about the importance and impact of materials in various fields. Through our four focused concentrations – Polymer and Fibers, Structural Materials, Functional Materials, and Biomaterials – students will explore the intricate world of materials science in fields ranging from electronics, sports, and healthcare to energy and sustainability. It aims to cultivate a passion for science and engineering while providing a memorable and enriching summer experience.
