Future Coaches w/Coach Darren

Chase Youth Programs brings the Future Coaches Program to MLSI summer camp. This is an afternoon experience designed for our rising middle school campers who want to learn how to coach and lead in any sport or activity. Over the course of each day, participants discover the fundamentals of coaching, including: - How to explain activities, - Organize groups, - Keep players engaged, and - Adapt to different sports or skill levels They practice techniques for working with younger kids, creating a positive and safe environment, and becoming a strong role model. Leadership sessions focus on: - Building confidence, - Communication, - Teamwork, and - Problem-solving Each participant will gain the tools to inspire others both on and off the field. To keep things active and exciting, the program mixes in fun games like pickleball, dodgeball, capture the flag, and other team challenges so students can apply what they are learning in real time while still having fun! By the end of the program, each participant earns a Junior Coach Certificate and leaves with the skills and confidence to make a positive impact in their community.
